This weekend we were excited to celebrate our oldest’s fourth birthday!
As an October baby, Parker has always loved Halloween and has been begging for a Halloween-themed birthday party ever since we can remember. This year we decided to make it happen.

We booked the Playstreet Museum in Mansfield for his party. It’s a cute play place with lots of activity centers for the kids to interact with. They also assist with the set up and tear down of the party, and we added on the slime-making experience.

Parker insisted that he wanted to be a pirate for Halloween this year, so we went simple with his pirate costume and got him a birthday shirt and pirate hat. Charlie of course wanted to be a unicorn and got THE BEST unicorn onesie to wear. I went as a “mermaid” and the baby wore some Halloween-themed pajamas. Jordan passed on the opportunity to dress up this year.

Once again we ordered our cake from Bittersweet Bakery in Waxahachie – they do amazing cakes for incredibly reasonable prices.

After the party we headed back home to give Parker his big present – a real bicycle! He was so excited to put on his helmet and ride it around. While he’s not quite proficient yet, we’re sure he’ll figure it out soon!
