Jalapeño Margarita Smoothie (Non-alcoholic)

Hi everyone!

I tried a new recipe this week and I’m excited to share it with you here!

Since moving into the barn house on my parents’ property, where we will be located for the next several months, we have been thrilled to be able to switch from our local Kroger grocery store back to H-E-B! For those of you not from Texas, H-E-B is literally the best, and yes, we get excited about our grocery stores.

A few of the items I picked up at H-E-B recently were these Blendables ready to blend smoothies.

They have a bunch of different flavors, with all fruit smoothies and some vegetable smoothies as well.

Since I have had the third baby and Jordan and I have been on our health challenge, I haven’t really had the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine the way I used to. One of my favorite cocktails is the Mi Cocina Jalapeño Agave Margarita, I love spicy drink options!

Using the Blendable mix, I decided to try making a healthy smoothie that tastes like the margarita I’ve been missing out on the past few months.

Jalapeño Margarita Smoothie (Non-alcoholic)

An easy, healthy recipe with lots of spice!

Makes 1 large smoothie, or 2 smaller smoothies.

Ingredients:

  • 1 H-E-B Blendable Green Fuel Smoothie package
  • 1-2 scoops of Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein powder in Vanilla Ice Cream flavor
  • 3 packets of Truvia
  • 1/4 cup of sliced pickled jalapeños (adjust to taste)
  • 16 ounces of water

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Add water to desired consistency.

Enjoy the smoothie! Add salt to the rim if you want to be fancy 🙂

A single smoothie this has approximately 240 calories.
