Hey everyone! It has been a long time! Lots of changes in our household, both home improvement-wise and people-wise!
Last fall we celebrated the birth of our son Parker, who is turning 7 months old today, and we’ve also been managing to carry on with our renovating although we did have some minor stall-outs along the way (we were a little busy 😉). But now we’re back into the swing of things and the house is still coming along nicely!
We’ve now been in our house for FOUR years, and while it seems like the time has just flown by, the end is in sight. A quick rundown of projects we have completed:
- New wood-look tile floors installed throughout the house
- New layout to kitchen
- Cabinets and countertops installed in kitchen
- New layout to laundry room
- Cabinets and countertops installed in laundry
- Barn doors installed in master bedroom
- Nursery completely remodeled
And the projects we are in the middle of:
- Trim and baseboards for the whole house
- Backsplash and fireback installed in kitchen and laundry
- Fireplace gutting and remodel
- Dining room and kitchen wainscoting
- Laundry room wainscoting
Projects still yet to start:
- Bathroom remodel
- Garage remodel and organization
- Bonus room remodel
- Library remodel
- Master closet remodel
- Exterior clean up and remodel
- Driveway paving
- Fencing repairs/replacement
Realistically though, all the major interior projects are well on their way to being completed. I can’t wait! Updates on individual rooms are coming soon!
